Our Concaves and Camps offer a variety of pop-up events throughout the day. Some activities run all day, others happen when the crowds are big enough, and some you’ll have to have the luck of timing on your side for!
Costume Improve TRUCE ‘s theme camp “All the Worlds A Stage,” invites you to come to play on their unique and beautiful stage, to dress up, act out and be loud. Their gift is providing participants with costumes to take and celebrate self-expression in all its forms. If all the world is a stage, then be bold and come find what you need to express yourself! If you feel the need to find a new costume or outfit, come participate in the costume improve. And leave with some new threads to celebrate in!
Cocktail and Mocktail Hour The tiki lounge is open to everyone throughout the whole event to stop in and escape the sun in a run-down piece of paradise. They'll be throwing a surprise cocktail and mocktail hour where you can stop in and get a free drink, and for a select few a special gift! Bring your own cup, and an ID if you are hoping for an adult beverage.
The Department of Deliveries and Divination (The Dodad). The lower level of our little The Dodad features a small post office. Come write a letter to a stranger, or pick one up and deliver it to whomever you feel called to give the letter to. Upstairs is a sitting space that will host impromptu divinations, from tarot and palm readings from mediums, or when vacant, host your own! The Mural WallA returning piece from last year’s event, the spray paint mural wall is a steady reminder that nothing is permanent. Contribute your own art and embrace that nothing lasts!
The Absurdity Awards Create a gold medal or trophy that you can award to a campmate that went above and beyond or perhaps celebrate mistakes that ended laughter-induced belly aches. Whether a mock award or from the heart, this craft-tivity is to promote poking fun at each other and ourselves. Once you’ve made your award you can either give it directly to its awardee or submit it to be given as an official part of our Closing Ceremonies on Sunday, June 26th.Pom-PomagedonThis mural is aimed to evolve over the course of the event. Come learn how to make a pom-pom and then attach it amongst the rest to add to this abstract 3d art piece which will grow and evolve over the next year of events. A tribute to how small contributions made by many, create beautiful things.
The Creative Spark The namesake for our activities comes from unusual roots! Capitalist waste becomes useful micro pieces of art. After Utah passed a law requiring lighters to be individually packaged, 20,000 lighters were sent to be destroyed. Destroying them, was more cost-effective than shipping them to be repackaged. Come get a free lighter and use magazines to decorate a miniature scene.

We hope to see you walking the labyrinth.

The drama triangle is a model that illustrates toxic roles and behaviors that often show up in our most important relationships. It can appear anywhere - in our relationship with others, with ourselves, with our work, or with our spirituality. It’s baked into our evolution, rooted in our survival strategies, and embedded in the very fabric of our culture.
Entanglement in the drama triangle is inevitable. However, learning to recognize the dynamics of the triangle (when, where, and how it might appear) can help us to overcome trauma and avoid suffering. Furthermore, as we sharpen our awareness, we can transform the dysfunctional nature of the drama triangle into a model of empowerment.
In this workshop, you will learn why we are naturally drawn to the drama triangle, how to identify where it is showing up in your life, and how to transform maladjusted dynamics into gifts and opportunities.

This is much more than ecstatic dance. It is movement therapy.
We start off in a large circle, each writing on a piece of paper what we are currently going through in our human experience. Any emotions, life experiences, changes, situations, etc. all end up going into a bowl. Then we begin the meditative ecstatic dance journey while I anonymously read the entries for people to embody and express however it makes them feel through movement, noise, tears, etc. Everyone moves through these emotions collectively, as one.
