Kids: Things to Consider and Preparing for Festivals

Five Benefits of Festivals for Children

  • Yes, from arts festivals like Burning Man and its regionals, to other transformational gatherings such as Lucidity !

It is more common to have an all ages festival with designated family camping areas, than it is to have 21+ events.

  • Only as much as you allow it!

Those in Family Camping are aware of the atmosphere they are entering and have prepared themselves, and their children, for their experience.

You may easily experience Revival unaffected by these parents choices and parenting styles. Although , we have found having kids around to elevate the sense of community a Revival. Plus, If you’re finding yourself jealous of the kids activities you’re welcome to participate!

  • Ultimately, Revival is a community building event, and building community should’t come at the cost of needing to choose new experiences over family.

Last year we saw an incredible number of adult family members camping together. We believe that adding the necessary supports to accommodate a kids activity program, will not take away from the other areas of our gathering.

Finding support networks for our children is just as important as finding it for ourselves, especially in Utah.

From single parents to atomic families to those hoping to educate and inspire from an early age, are all welcome at Revival.

We are an inclusive event, that welcomes those who are searching for support in healing and growing.

This includes those seeking empowered family dynamics.
