• Watchmen Volunteers are trained with zendo and maps techniques as first responders to any situation at the festival. Neutral parties to help through the good and tough.

Watchmen are not disciplinarians, they're individuals passionate about being a reliable safety net for others for situations ranging from a rouge tent needing tethered, to mediating a heated moment between friends, or holding space for someone releasing and processing an experience. The techniques for listening, communication, deescalation, and resolution are ones that many volunteers have implemented into daily life.

The program further strengthens the communities trust in one another, as an opportunity to be vulnerable.

  • The Seven Principles of Leave No Trace provide an easily understood framework of minimum impact practices for anyone visiting the outdoors. Although Leave No Trace has its roots in backcountry settings, the Principles have been adapted so that they can be applied anywhere — from remote wilderness areas, to local parks and even in your own backyard. They also apply to almost every recreational activity. Each Principle covers a specific topic and provides detailed information for minimizing impacts.

  • Embarking on a journey to combine the festival experience with higher thinking and spirituality, begs that our attendees and organizers take continuous personal inventory. This can, at times, require us to sit in uncomfortable realities.

For Revival, we have identified that being a fledgling organization, comes with the opportunity to weave our cultural desires into the fabric of our starting foundations. We hope to create a programs which create authentically inclusive spaces for BIPOC community members.

  • Leave No Trace is just the first level of our efforts in creating an eco-friendly event thats as good for the environment as it is for your soul!

We want to hear the sustainability practices and ideas that you would like to see in action at Revival. Where do we hope to be by next year, in five years?

  • As we have grown, the number of families attending with minors has too. We invite kids and parents to come imagine what a Kids Village would look like! What workshops could be expand into? What activities would you like to see?

The Future of Revival

This year we are introducing a workshop series titled “The Future of Revival!” During these discussions we invite participants to share their thoughts and ideas on programs we hope to expand and introduce. Below we have outlined our current programs, alongside our proposed additions.
